A Selection Of Recent Jobs
1) Occasionally red pixels appear on my screen for varying amounts of time and this is becoming more frequent. I've done a little research and I think the fan needs cleaning but haven't really got a clue about how to do this so some assistance would be great.
2) I recently dropped my phone on my MacBook which broke the screen. I was advised (badly) by a friend that it was quite easy and more cost effective to repair myself. Having youtubed how to go about doing this I set to work. I followed the instructions but evidently got lost somewhere along the way. Having taken the screen off, I unfortunately broke the small White tube (it looks like a small fluorescent bulb) and have had a bit of an epic with the wires going into the web cam etc. Having done this I have given up and am now
conserned that I have broken it irripairably.
I guess my main questions at this point would be:
does this sound broken beyond repair?
If so, is there a way to get my iTunes info off
of the hard drive?
If it sounds like it is repairable would you be able to give a ball park figure on fixing it prior to me bringing it/sending it into you?
If you could advise on the best course of action at this point it would be much appreciated.
